Tethered snail shell found on the road.
What are we, similar to a snail, we live out our time on Earth, outer elements and challenges leaving scars and cracks on our shell, after we expire, we leave behind a brief mark on Earth, as proof of our existence, through memories, maybe a tombstone, but as time goes on and another generation dawns, memories start to fade, and we cease to exist, similar to a snail shell, eventually decomposing, eventually fading away into nothingness...
